This Infosheet contains advice to vehicle inspectors and examining the organization carry out inspections of the Citroen Xantia or Citroen XM. There was a failure in front suspension rubber insulating block mounting over (Oleo-pneumatic suspension leg) of the Model Citroen Xantia & XM (see Figure 1 and 2). Citroen Xantia front suspension rubber which shows the isolation block is subject to the separation of bonding to metal or slide through the rubber block. If presented with a Citroen Xantia or XM vehicle, the vehicle inspector must fail the vehicle if there is
sign of deterioration or failure of this component is detected during the inspection. Citroen Xantia rubber mounting gathered in a separate (failure) conditions.
