Focus Midget engine is equipped with the opposite rotation water pump impeller, water pump and pulley change in the opposite direction when compared with the way the engine. This does not reverse the flow of coolant through the engine, it is only possible with a belt driven pulley HTD rather than using the back-side of the belt convoluted. No modification of the water pump impeller or water pump pulley is allowed.

Coolant out of the head of the players elbow located at the rear of the machine, and into the machine at the pump. Because the engine runs on methanol, and the compression ratio has not been raised, excessive heat is generally not a problem. Therefore, the standard type Midget radiator has proved more than enough. High pressure, racing radiator cap had not received necessary to maintain the temperature, £ 16 cap has adequate.
