Banks Ram-air system is designed to meet Class “A” 454 Chevrolet engine / chassis combination. Because the layout of the different equipment used by many coaches builders, some accessories and components may be
moved to accommodate the air intake component of the Bank Ram-Air system. Banks Ram-Air cold air induction components are designed to expand the factory cold air intake line so that outside air can be taken directly from the vehicle behind the grille. Figure 2 shows the typical hook-up of the components of the air intake when they bind to the factory system. Ram-Air is the Super-Scoop ™ also serves as a water separator to drain any rain water that may enter through the lattice.
