Manual Tuning Instructions for Harley Davidson Carburetors

Please study these instructions carefully before installing your new Edelbrock carburetor. This handbook is agreed only Harley-Davidson.

The Edelbrock Performer series carburetor includes five (5)

Adjustments:

1. IDLE speed: mechanical lifts and lowers slide idle preferred.
2. MIXTURE OF REST (900-1200rpm) to bleed air.
3. Mid Range (1300-3500rpm): Controlled by the creation of needles / size.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CABLE THROTTLE

NOTE: Edelbrock Performer Series carburetors require the use of a cable with two (push-pull) of the Assembly of gas and cable. Quick kits and complete kits include throttle cable adapters for use with OE accelerator cable CV. To begin Evo Big Twin (84-89) and Evo Sportster (86-87), the OE cables can be used without adapters.
