Guide to installing Air Horn on Harley Davidson motorcycles, procedure: Remove the ½ “nuts attached to the stock horn and groups. Remove the horn & bracket assembly from the stud it is mounted, and unplug 2. Connect the two wires from the loom to the relay terminal 30 & 87 (see the wiring diagram provided). Securing the relay onto the tube as shown by using one small cable ties. Connect the hose from the loom to the “Y” appropriate. Set the cable, tubing and loom as shown and secure with cable small in (1A). COMPRESSOR MOUNTING AND WIRING. Because of large differences between the model and model year changes, it is impossible to have proper instructions for all models but the installation location and method shown in photo 2, 3 and 4 will be applied to more than 90% of all installations. Trim the wire and obstruction in one of the terminals and the female knife attached to the (+) terminal (see wiring diagram included with the operating air horn and trouble shooting pages). Turn on the machine and test the horn. Check the cables and hoses for neat , secure routing and maintain at least 1 / 2 “away from exhaust system. Re-chairs etc.
