Accelerated Testing of Honda Civic 2006 Hybrid Electric Vehicle

Two model year 2006 (Gen II) Honda Civic hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) entered Accelerated testing during July 2006 in a fleet in Arizona. After reaching 160,000 miles each, the two Civic HEVs will have their traction batteries tested before retirement. One-page fact sheet vehicles and the maintenance of timber has been posted for the HEVs on www pages. Information includes: miles driven, fuel, operation and maintenance requirements, operating costs, and life-cycle costs. Two Gen II Civic HEVs have been driven a total of 122,000 miles and The cumulative average fuel economy 40.1 mpg.
